Description: 2 to 7 years of experience in data collection, classification, and analysis in drivetrain components and system level validation.Knowledge of the overall vehicle development process.Detailed and comprehensive knowledge of drivetrain components and configurations of vehicles with conventional, hybrid, and battery-electric drive.Profound knowledge in transmission and drivetrain components durability and fatigue simulations.Sound specialist knowledge about the functionality and interactions between drivetrain components and operation strategies in vehicles with conventional, hybrid, and battery-electric drive.Demonstrably sound experience in the drivetrain track simulation unit with the winEVA and DIAdem software.Demonstrable experience and competence in the generation, analysis, and measurement of load collectives.Simulation of the vehicle on various specified route profiles for determining load collectives or design-relevant load cases for passenger car drivetrains.Structure and execution of the simulation.Review the results for correctness and plausibility.Provision of classified load time signals.Passionate about using technology to solve problems.OUR EXPECTATIONS: University degree (master's level) in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or comparable fields.Multiple years of experience with the simulation of drive systems.Expert knowledge of the development of electric drive systems as well as a deep and comprehensive understanding of overall vehicles and drivetrains.Knowledge and experience in the areas of overall vehicle simulation, drive development, BEV operating strategy, and vehicle testing is an advantage.OrganizationMercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited
