Scope: The Business Planner Data Analyst will report to the KAM Retail and will support the Account Management group in all areas specific to product planning, logistics, reporting, and sales support for the country group. In addition, this role will have dotted line responsibility into the SVP and is responsible for the collection, processing and reporting of business transactions for the Latin American region. Transactions include but are not limited to inventory levels, sales to customers, retail sales, pricing and promotional activity tracking.
This individual will act as the primary owner of all forecasts, demand planning, sales reports and analysis for the country group. The individual will be responsible for consolidating all retail forecasts and reports into a comprehensive regional report.
Duties & Responsibilities: Work with KAMs team to generate weekly and monthly sales and product planning reports and analysis. Work with KAMs to consolidate and submit monthly sell-in and sell-thru forecasts. Own the monthly forecast submission which involves two key activities:
Coordinate the monthly demand planning process submission, working closely with Sales and Planning teams to ensure product order and flow alignment; Submit the monthly consolidated sales forecast to the S2G Regional Purchasing Team. Analyze a value chain of current products and new business opportunities. Work with KAMs to develop a SKU-level inventory and demand report by retailer on a weekly and/or monthly basis. Work with KAMs to provide overall sales projections, as well as actual and projected inventory level reports. Play a critical role in generating the country group P&L and budget reports.
Coordinate with S2G Regional Purchasing Team, Operations, and Finance teams as well as local Operations and Logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate product shipments and PO processing. Communicate with retailers to facilitate acquisition of data. Work with KAMs to process and consolidate weekly retailer sell through into a central data source.
Manage multiple lists and data sets. Create and utilize tools and techniques to transform raw data into meaningful and useful information for business analysis purposes. Conduct data audit and data quality control both of the new information as well as the historical data. Produce weekly/monthly reporting on:
Detailed retailer sell through. Detailed retailer inventory. Detailed internal inventory. Detailed sales to retail. Product transfers between warehouses. Detailed promotional activity. Deliver reporting internally and prepare for external vendor partners. Produce ad hoc reports at the request of the Business Development Manager and sales department to accommodate vendor partner requests and facilitate forecasting and sales trends. Maintain cross references files to properly interpret retailer sell through and vendor data. Daily sales report | Daily email Sales report per Day & Month. Also add billing form confection at Colppy system. Generate weekly Sell thru & Inventory levels information report with 15 customers data manually. SKU Classification to unify criteria into the report. Skills & Qualifications: Studying degree in finance or business administration required, or equivalent related experience. 2+ years of experience in a sales planning or analysis role. Experience in consumer electronics or a related field. General knowledge of demand planning, inventory management & operations. Superior written and verbal skills to facilitate the communication process - must be able to convey information and ideas clearly. A proven ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Strong analytical skills with a creative approach to idea generation and problem-solving. Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The individual must be organized, resourceful, strategic, and results-oriented. Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, forward planner, team player and must be able to work in an entrepreneurial environment. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software; specifically MS Excel. Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.
