Purpose and Role Summary The SAP Business Area Controlling (BAC) Sales division plays a key role in standardizing and harmonizing Controlling processes and tools within SAP's global Controlling community. We are currently seeking a candidate to join our Business Area Controlling Global Customer Success team.
This role focuses on delivering controlling services and acting as a trusted financial business partner to Global L1/L2 Sales Leaders. The successful candidate will drive financial transparency across multiple organizational levels, ensuring compliance and promoting financial sustainability.
The ideal candidate is eager to learn, committed to operational excellence, has strong attention to detail, and excels at building effective relationships across the organization. Proficiency in spreadsheet modeling, particularly with Microsoft Excel (including Analytics for Office and/or Macros) and PowerPoint, is essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities Include: Skilled in creating new reporting packages and maintaining existing ones, while managing aggressive timelines Guiding financial activities such as forecasting, budgeting, reporting, analysis, and financial closing to facilitate optimal financial performance. Facilitating month-end and quarter-end closing activities including the latest estimate forecast, accruals. Preparing and presenting the financial narrative to senior management supporting their business objectives. Executing business analysis to provide actionable insight to our business partners. Guaranteeing financial transparency to strengthen business unit decisions. Collaborating with stakeholders across various business units and within SAP. Required Qualifications and Technical Skills: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably with a focus on finance and controlling. Proven track record in reporting and presenting. Excellent at working in a virtual team environment. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP products (e.g., SAP CO/FI, Business Warehouse) is preferred. Previous experience with SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) would be advantageous. Exceptional analytical and impressive problem-solving skills. Fluent in spoken and written English. ?
