Hvordan vil du BIDRAGE og VOKSE?The Accounting Lead is responsible for supporting the Controller's organization at the North Division's Business Support Center (BSC).
The position has the following major areas of responsibility: financial accounting and reporting, including month-end close processes; preparation, review, and posting of general ledger account analyses and reconciliations; preparation, review, and posting of journal entries; internal reporting requests related to Division branches and Corporate; fulfilling requests related to internal/external audit and other ad hoc analyses and special projects.
This role will work closely with other members of the Division Accounting department, Division Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), North Division Regional Finance departments and the Central Accounting Group ("CAG").
The Accounting Lead will be leading a staff of junior and senior accounting professionals and will include the establishment of goals, timelines and deadlines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for month-end procedures and reporting requirements, including the generation of reports and the preparation and posting of journal entries.Completes general ledger account analysis, research and preparation and review of account reconciliations.Assists with the analysis of financial results for budget variances and exceptional trends.Prepares reports to fulfill information requests from external and internal auditors.Ensures compliance with the Company's financial policies/procedures.Maintains internal accounting controls that are consistent with Company requirements.Special projects and other duties as assigned.Knowledge of industrial companies strongly preferred.Er du et MATCH?MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job duty satisfactorily.

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.CPA or MBA preferred but not required.Required Length & Type of Experience:
Five-plus years of accounting/finance experience.Two-plus years of business leadership and/or supervisory experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:To be successful, the Accounting Lead should have a solid understanding of general accounting matters.
Ability to train new employees and to answer questions regarding job procedures and issues.
Including having the ability to adjust to others needs and learning styles.Leadership skills; Identifies requirements; allocates, and effectively uses information, personnel, time, and other resources necessary for goal accomplishment; establishes appropriate courses of action for self and/or others to accomplish specific goals; develops evaluation criteria and tracking systems for monitoring goal progress and accomplishment; and specifies objectives, schedules, and priorities.Strong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written.Proven organizational, team-building and people skills.
