Employment Type: Part-Time or Full-Time contractor (post-probationary period) Reports directly to: CEO Collaborates with: Technology & Operations Manager/ Sales & Marketing Manager As a Finance and Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in consolidating, organizing, analyzing, and reporting key metrics to the leadership team for strategic business planning. This position entails a blend of finance duties, including accounts payable and receivable management, financial analysis, and tax preparation, along with data management responsibilities focused on analyzing and leveraging data across various departments. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will collaborate closely with operations, marketing, sales teams, and project managers to drive informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities: Finance Duties: -Handle accounts payable processes, including purchase orders processing, standard pricing informationprocessing, and monthly AP ledger processing.
-Manage accounts receivable tasks, such as sales order to invoice conversion, monthly open balancestatements to customers, cash application, and monthly AR ledger reconciliation.
-Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, offering insights to support strategic decision-making.
-Conduct financial analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
-Ensure revenue management and recovery processes are executed effectively.
-Oversee general ledger accounting and accounts reconciliation services.
-Manage tax preparation tasks, including tax validation, liability calculation, returns preparation, and formand certificate management.
-Align finance and accounting processes with MTLS's strategic goals and objectives, providing insightsand recommendations to support informed decision-making at all levels of the organization.
Data Management Duties: -Collect, clean, organize, and analyze data across departments (sales, operations, accountmanagement, marketing, finance, etc.) to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.
-Generate key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics reports to monitor the effectiveness of allprocesses, for leadership to identify areas for improvement and to develop strategies based on dataanalysis to drive business growth.
-Create usage reports for clients.
-Utilize AI and Google Suite (Looker Studio) in conjunction with project management software to compile,clean, and store relevant data.
-Store data and reports in a single, organized source & link it to destinations.
-Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to integrate all data systems, ensuring seamlessdata flow and alignment with business objectives.
-identify opportunities and implement strategies to optimize and maximize automation across all softwaresystems used within the organization.
