The A/V Installer/Technician will work independently (and with a team) towards the completion of project-based installations and service calls. This person will be responsible for the timely completion of daily tasks, procedures, and documentation they are assigned. You should be professional, well organized, adept at balancing a range of tasks, hard-working, computer proficient, have a clean driving record, and be a real team player.
Job Requirements:Plan, assemble, install, and terminate A/V equipment racks and head-ends with an emphasis on dressing the rack cleanly and professionallyInstall a variety of A/V components including but not limited to video displays, projectors, projection screens, speakers, network equipment, control systems, surveillance cameras, and shadesAbility to pull cables between sub-systems and roomsEffectively troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair any systemShould be able to read/interpret site plan schematics and drawingsPre-wiring and retrofit wiring of single-family homes and commercial buildingsLighting control installation and programmingCommunicate daily job site status to the Project ManagerKnow your way around a construction siteExcellent organizational skills and the desire to work for a professional companyAble to lift 60lbs comfortablyHave availability for work Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PMMust have reliable transportation and a valid driver's licenseQualifications (ONE of the following required):Low voltage residential wiringHome theater installation/setupElectricianFramer/CarpenterSecurity/alarm systemsPriority will be given to applicants who have experience with:C4 programmingRTIUniversal Remote ControlLutron / RadioRA3MadVRRukusBenefits:$35.00-$45.00 hourly, depending on qualifications & experiencePaid holidays, vacation time, and sick daysCompany carPaid time offTraining & developmentIf you are interested, send us an email with your resume attached and change the subject line to A/V Installer – YOUR FULL NAME.
