Description As China is a growing market for passenger cars, we are currently looking for experienced experts who share the same passion and enthusiasm for driving China requirements and concept in the telematics business.
Our team is responsible for designing and developing China-specific infotainment applications on the MBUX system and Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Cloud, aiming at providing the best digital experience to Chinese customers.
We are looking for passionate Android engineers who share the vision of the Android ecosystem in the automotive industry and want to join an international team to develop cutting-edge Android features and applications on an Android-based infotainment system.
The candidate will be responsible for:
Working in an international team to extend and customize the target infotainment system, including:Review technical requirements based on the market inputsCome up with technical solutions and conduct feasibility checksImplement new system features by integrating into the global development processCustomization and development of Android applications based on the target infotainment system, including:Define application architecture based on the requirementsDevelop Android applications based on the predefined UI/UX conceptSupport testing and debuggingQualifications Education
Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Communication Engineering, or a similar major.
Experience
• Good knowledge in Android Services/Framework layer
• Expert in Android application development
• Solid programming skills in Java/C/C++
• Practical experience with Linux
• Hands-on development on infotainment projects in areas of Audio, Bluetooth, WiFi, etc.
is highly desired
• Experience in vehicle interfaces (CAN, Ethernet) is preferred
• 5+ years of experience in software development
