The RoleNHS Lanarkshire are looking to recruit an Assistant Technical Officer - Medical Physics, based within University Hospital Monklands.
The post holder is part of a Medical Physics Equipment Management Section within the comprehensive Medical Physics service to NHS Lanarkshire.
These Sections are located in Monklands, Wishaw and Hairmyres Hospitals and serve both the Acute and Primary Care Divisions with a contracted service to the State Hospital, Carstairs.
Medical equipment management ensures that vital equipment connected to patients (for the purpose of diagnosis, therapy, or life support) is operating safely and effectively.

Standard grades or equivalentTechnical and or administrative skills.Keyboard and computer skills.Possession of team-working skills.Can prioritise and plan own workload.Can work on own initiative.Access to a car and have a full, valid UK/EU/EEA licenceIt would be great if you also haveRelevant experience in a technical role connected with healthcarePrior knowledge of patient connected devices in healthcare environmentContract typePermanent
