Job Description - Assistant Manager - Retirement Benefits (MER00036UZ) Objectives of the Job: Provide assistance on the new statutory rules related to retirement benefits which will be implemented in the financial year.Preparing RPU file for filing the ETDS return for different trusts.Preparing the working and challan for the payment of TDS for different trusts.Accounting of monthly contributions in the respective accounting tools and issuing annual statements.File the application with the insuror and prepare the documentation for withdrawal and transfer as applicable.Preparing the workings after the fund from the insuror is received, along with TDS calculation, challan preparation and payment file.Passing the necessary accounting entries in the Trust books of accounts.Monthly reconciliation of insurer statements versus books of accounts and reporting the same to the respective systems.Employee queries on retirement benefits.Handling statutory, internal, ICS & Trust auditors.Areas of Work: Retirement Benefits, Accounting Entry, Analysis of Payroll spend, Process improvement, Out to In activities movement.
Qualifications Education: M.Com (Accounting) or M.B.A (General Administration).
