The Team: The Public Ownership Team is seeking a leader to manage individual contributors in data collection, quality checks, and maintenance processes to achieve team goals. This position offers opportunities to understand business objectives, recommend solutions, and implement projects for improved dataset accuracy and process efficiency.
Responsibilities and Impact: Lead a team of 12-15 Data Researchers, planning, prioritizing, and executing projects and initiatives.Manage multiple operations support teams for various data/content management activities.Establish team goals aligned with domain objectives, monitor performance, and ensure on-time delivery of results.Create an environment of continuous improvement and foster team unity.Coordinate with team leads and managers across offices on deliverables and projects.Ensure clear communication across all levels and teams.Be accountable for team performance and production process effectiveness.Collect feedback and work on the development of collection tools and systems.Present ideas for improving departmental processes and continuously innovate techniques to maximize productivity.Prepare production and quality metrics and reports, conducting workflow analysis and managing team performance.Conduct intensive training for the team and develop resource plans.What We're Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications: Good problem resolution skills through effective collaboration.Ability to give and accept constructive feedback and provide coaching.Exceptional oral and written communication skills.Flexibility to adapt shifts based on business needs.People management skills with the ability to motivate a team.High ethical standards to maintain transparency in the team.Proven capability to work independently and focus on routine tasks.Good knowledge of Data/Content Management operations; knowledge of Investment Management is a plus.Problem Solving: Solve various operational problems.Provide solutions based on best practices.Coordinate and manage projects from start to finish.Additional Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in research or a related field.Comprehensive knowledge of SQL and MS tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Expertise in in-house tools and workflow tools (e.g., Pathfinder, CTS, Celsus).Proficiency in LEAN/AGILE principles, Blue Prism, Python, and Six Sigma certification is advantageous.Knowledge of visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is desirable.Experience managing a team of talented individuals.1-2 years of experience in Quality Vertical/Functions.About S&P Global Market Intelligence: At S&P Global Market Intelligence, we deliver accurate, deep insights and leading data solutions.
