Credit ScopePerform evaluation and approvals of credit applications of HK within the credit rules, corporate guidelines and regulations, to communicate with other departments with the objective to deliver the highest possible level of service to customers.Maintain good rapport with business associates and ensure service standards on turnaround time for credit application processing and approval are consistently met.Partake in projects and business initiatives to improve the effective & efficient operations of Credit Area.Prepare monthly reporting as required and adhoc tasks on an as and when basis.Collection ScopeAssist in monitoring the receivable portfolio and ensure that all repayments from customers are paid in a timely manner.Manage early delinquencies, newly activated accounts and litigation tasks.Responsible for managing the collection team and provide guidance in achieving the KPIs set.Further roles and responsibilities:
Perform Retail/Corporate/Dealer credit application assessments, acquiring good quality deals; with observance to credit rules, policies & lending standards.Prepare credit application motivations for deals over own mandate for higher credit authority review.Close cooperation with front-end sales, ensure timely deals decisions & communications to customers & dealers.Balancing LTV, approval ratio, TAT and quality mix on credit decision.Ad Hoc Analysis & ReportGeneration & compilation of data for monthly reports submission.Compiling ad hoc reports for management info. in monitoring of credit risk situations.Credit Evaluation Tools Maintenance, Policies / Guidelines & Process OptimizationPerform system testing & propose improvement on systems.Support department in maintaining and optimizing credit evaluations tools, templates, document list, & process, etc. according to business/risk management needs and market situation change.Monitor and review KPIs on daily work quality, propose credit process enhancement/optimization in improving efficiencies.Credit - OthersSupport in implementation and management of credit related projects.Conduct other tasks as required by supervisor to support achievement of the company and team's business objectives.Provide the extension service for special requirements from dealers and customers.Development of self, through classroom and on-the-job training, while fulfilling a support & mentor role to all new starts in the company.Collection – Dunning ActivitiesPerform collection dunning for past due contracts. Implement and manage collections and remarketing processes and procedures in accordance with the Company's policy and procedures.Monitor performance of Debt Collection Agency and liaise with Repossession agents to ensure proper management of account receivables by minimizing credit losses of current portfolio and maximizing debt recovery.Discuss with customers on restructuring/rescheduling of the overdue contracts.Collection – LitigationSupport litigation proceedings against the hirers and guarantors. Liaise with solicitors and other relevant authorities such as insurer, police, customs and Transport Authority for recovery purposes. Ensure timely filing of legal cases thereby protecting the interest of the company.Qualifications Educational Background Bachelor's degree preferable in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline.Professional Experience Minimum of 7 years of related working experience.Minimum 5 years in automotive finance.Required Specific Knowledge and Capabilities Good spoken and written English.Conversant in Cantonese/Mandarin and local dialects.Good knowledge of hire purchase terms and processes.Good communication and interpersonal skills (ability to interact with all levels).Ability to quickly adapt to new culture and environment and to work with other departments.Ability to multi-task.If you have the drive to succeed and the desire to work with the best, we invite you to apply.
