Key Responsibilities As an Assistant Accounts Payable Team Lead , you will play a crucial role in supporting the regional finance function by: Processing vendor invoices for European and non-European entities in compliance with company policies.
Managing payment runs to vendors and facilitating manual payments through online banking systems.
Ensuring accurate processing of sensitive invoices, such as Health Care Practitioner invoices, rebates, HR benefits, and prepayments.
Monitoring the Accounts Payable inbox , posting invoices, and addressing vendor inquiries.
Leading regular meetings with internal stakeholders to align on invoice processing and payment activities.
Supporting the implementation of SAP Ariba and OCR functionalities, including resolving discrepancies.
Establishing and maintaining successful vendor relationships while collaborating with Procurement, Accounting, and FP&A teams.
What You Bring A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with a minimum of 3 years of end-to-end accounts payable experience in a multinational environment.
Advanced knowledge of AP/GL accounting transactions and proficiency in SAP.
Experience with OCR tools and a strong understanding of US GAAP , European accounting standards, and VAT regulations.
Excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity to work effectively across geographies.
A proactive, analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and adaptability to a dynamic environment.
Fluency in English is required (additional languages are a plus).
Experience in healthcare or a related industry is advantageous.
