Who are we looking for?We are seeking an experienced Asset Integrity Engineer to join the Asset Integrity Group of theConsulting Services Department. The Asset Integrity Engineer's primary role is to provide operation and project support, and technical consultations and maintain standards on issues related to Asset Integrity Management systems and solutions. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Material, or Electrical. A Master's degree is desirable. 10 years of professional experience in the oil and gas industry. Strong technical capabilities and relevant experience with Asset Integrity Management practices. Certified as a fundamental Engineer (F.E.) license. Experienced in international standards related such as ASME & API. Flexibility to travel both domestically and internationally. Key Responsibilities Provide the project's management teams and operating facilities with guidance to establishing and safeguarding asset integrity throughout the asset lifecycle (i.e., Design, Procurement and Construction, Operation and Maintenance, and Decommissioning). Initiate or conduct special studies for improving facilities or operations; provide specialized technical service in recognized engineering fields; act as a consultant on complex engineering problems; designs and projects; coordinate or direct work of other engineers. Drive the implementation and improvement of an integrated medium to long-term AIMS for a variety of asset types, including refineries, gas plants, GOSPs, LNG, terminals, and infield flow and trunk Lines. Define asset integrity and process safety targets and establish standards to sustain operational excellence. Provide direction to the development and implementation of AIMS. Evaluate and adopt industry best practices to benchmark AIMS against other international oil companies, taking into consideration the applicable regulations, codes, and standards. Strategize and formulate an assurance and reporting process, to confirm that technical integrity barriers remain fit for purpose. Participate in management steering committees to periodically review the asset integrity KPIs, SCEs Barriers performance standard verification, focused asset integrity reviews audit findings and accident investigation findings. Benchmark and adapt lessons learned identified from internal and external events, provide recommendations to provide continuous assurance to management that the assurance methodology, applied to sustain the health of the SCEs and integrity barriers, is sufficient in mitigating potential threats arising from changes in major accident hazard scenarios. Strategize and drive the development and implementation of an effective technical integrity framework and communications infrastructure, through detailed analysis of design basis, operating envelopes (limits), and maintenance philosophies and strategies. Provide expert advice and assistance to company organizations, outside vendors, manufacturers, and design firms on matters relating to AIMS. Work with multidisciplinary teams or with task forces assigned to analyze or solve specific integrity and performance degradation issues or failure analysis, and suggest methods for the prevention of chronic failures Job Benefits Monthly Base Salary – aligned with company employees with similar skills Monthly Overbase – 25% of your monthly base salary Benefits Supplement – 20% of your monthly base salary, after 3 years of service, reward increases to 25% of base, after 6 years 30% of base, and after 12 years 35% of base Severance Package (2-year vest period) – year 2 to 5: 2 week's pay for each year of service, Year 6+: 4 week's pay for each year after Employment Tax – if employee chooses to separate themselves from their 'home country' for income tax purposes, most will not be required to pay 'home country' income taxes; company will not report income to the 'home country' governments. In-Kingdom dental services subsidized Educational Assistance Plan (EAP) – Out of Kingdom Assistance: 90% of expenses with a maximum per child, lesser of 5x monthly base salary or the company max ($48.5K), plus 3 round-trip economy air travel tickets; undergraduate college-age children get 2 round-trip economy air travel tickets; In Kingdom Assistance: 2x monthly base salary or the company max ($16.3K) Settling in Allowance – one-time payment; Family Status - 100% of monthly base salary; Single/Bachelor Status – 60% of monthly base salary Stages of our Hiring Process1. 2. Furthermore, your English level will be evaluated at this stage, ONLY native or advanced speakers will approve this evaluation.
If this preliminary phone/video interview is successful, your resume will be submitted to our client.
If your preliminary phone/video interview is not successful, our Talent Acquisition consultant will inform you.
2.2 Client Face to Face interview: This interview will happen only if your resume is approved by our client, we cannot guarantee the time our client will take to approve your resume, but it should take less than a week.
If your resume is approved a member of the Talent Acquisition Team will get back to you and schedule a face-to-face meeting in a defined location. You will be told to go to the location.
The client interview contains technical questions that help assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field and may include a behavioral evaluation. Be prepared to explain how you approach problems and produce solutions.
If your face-to-face interview is successful, the hiring team will further evaluate your resume, decide, and then receive a conditional job offer.
If your face-to-face interview is not approved, LHR Americas will inform you.
2.3 There could be additional video interviews with hiring managers, which may also contain technical questions that help us assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field.
3. Conditional Offer: A successful interview may result in a conditional offer of employment. Conditions for employment include but are not limited to medical examinations, and permission to secure a visa to work and reside in-country.
4. Relocation Process: After your offer is accepted and all conditions for employment are met, you will be assigned a relocation advisor from LHR Americas. This advisor will be your go-to resource for your job transition, providing valuable advice on visa logistics, notice periods, medical requirements, and more.
