About the role The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining APIs using Node.js and related technologies, ensuring seamless integration with mobile applications.
You will collaborate closely with mobile developers and architects to ensure cohesive functionality and scalability.
Responsibilities include optimizing API performance and security, writing clean and maintainable code, performing thorough testing and debugging, and providing constructive feedback through code reviews.
Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting technical issues, staying updated on the latest API development trends, and communicating technical topics effectively to diverse stakeholders.
Main responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Node.js and other relevant technologies.
* Ensure seamless integration of APIs with mobile applications.
* Optimize API performance and security.

* Write clean, maintainable code and perform thorough testing and debugging.

* Communicate and present to diverse stakeholders on technical topics and implementations Key Qualifications and Experiences: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in API development, including using Node.js extensively.
* Strong proficiency in JavaScript and understanding of RESTful APIs; familiarity with other relevant languages such as TypeScript, Python, or Go.
* Experience with middleware and integrating APIs with mobile applications.
* Familiarity with security best practices and performance optimization.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills * Familiarity with Agile and scrum methodologies * In depth experience with DevOps and CI/CD as well as version control systems (e.g., Git).
