How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? ALIZENT is currently seeking a proactive and inventive application and systems IT support specialist of manufacturing execution applications, especially those related to logistics, planning, and monitoring. The candidate might be asked to participate in different phases of enhancement projects related to these systems.
Assist functionally and technically users with contractual commitments of the use of solutions. Provide Level 2 support services for off-the-shelf/custom solutions or applications related with ALTO (Bulk Supply organization, optimization, and dispatching): Update incidents and communicate timely to the customer about progress. Examine the cause of incidents and establish a diagnosis. Provide a temporary solution when a permanent solution is not possible. Identify possible solutions (includes verifying physical layer issues, resolving username and password problems, uninstalling/reinstalling basic software applications, verification of proper hardware and software setup, and assistance with navigating around application menus). Escalate, in a timely manner, the more complex issues to L3 support/3rd party providers. Participate in the 24/7 application support coverage. Carry out, implement, and monitor action plans aimed at continuous improvement of the service (improve solution and customer knowledge, reduction of incidents, increase resolution ratio). Set up and monitor key activities of the solution within its ecosystem to improve the operational performance of the customer. Propose solutions to increase the reliability and quality of the applications as well as to reduce operating and on-call costs while ensuring an adequate level of security. Participate actively in the updating of application's documentation linked to support activities. Are you a MATCH? The candidate must possess the following:
University degree or college diploma (3 years after high school) in information technology or computer science. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of information systems, including 2 years as an application/system support. Relevant experience in testing, troubleshooting, and systems support activities. Good knowledge on network architecture/configuration. Good knowledge of SQL Server database systems. Good knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, PL/SQL, and TSQL) (optional). Familiarity with cloud hosting, maintenance, and management, especially on AWS ecosystem (a plus). Customer-oriented. Good communication skills. Hungry and keen to learn with a positive attitude. Sense of leadership and ability to work in a team. Good analytical skills. Willingness to be on a 24/7 on-call rotation. English mandatory (C1 or higher equivalent level). Having the following would be great assets:
Experience in smart mobility devices; troubleshooting and management. Experience with the Google tools (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Google+). Experience in smart integration on mobile devices. French oral and/or written. ITIL Certified.
