The Chevron Business Support Center (BASSC) located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, is accepting online applications for the positionAgile Coach. Successful candidates will join the IT Engineering function which is part of a successful multifunction service center with a workforce of more than 1200 employees delivering business services and solutions across the globe.
Seeking passionate individuals who exemplify high performing behaviors and share our vision of bringing Agile/Scrum and the power of new ways of working and solutions to Argentina Business Unit. The main function of the Agile Coach is to coordinate and monitor the Scrum process from initiation through delivery. This position will be responbile for coaching and training Agile throughout the organization, acting as champion and evangelist of Agile principles and values. The Agile Coach will collaborate directly with Agile teams to coach and guide them on the mechanics of Agile methods to achieve optimal team effectiveness.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
• Engages with multiple levels within the organization to influence, provide feedback and coach on agile frameworks, behaviors and mindset that support teaming, empowerment, and accelerated delivery of business value.
• Coaches teams across organizational and functional boundaries to implement a fit-for-purpose agile structure that maximizes the delivery of business value.
• Drives high performance teaming behaviors.
• Educates on concepts around team start-up, establishing working agreements, making work visible and breaking work into manageable pieces.
• Helps teams to leverage agile ceremonies in a fit-for-purpose manner.
• Participates in enterprise agile learning events to provide experience, coaching and connection across the enterprise to grow Chevron agile capabilities.
• Contributes to coaching playbooks and materials.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or business-related discipline.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Strong facilitation, and stakeholder engagement experience.
• One or more Expert-level Agile certification(s) - Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Team Coach (CTC), Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC), etc.
• Highly proficient in English.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural and diverse environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree preferred.
• SAFe certification(s).
• Prior experience coaching Agile Release Trains using the scaled agile SAFe Framework
• Experience managing Sprint and/or Kanban boards using Azure DevOps or similar work management tool.
• Abiltity to travel.
