Job Description – Advertising Account Executive Location: Hybrid Remote
Compensation: $40,000-$45,000 base plus commission and bonus
Capital Analytics is looking for vibrant and energetic professionals to join our team of ambitious, entrepreneurial-minded individuals. Our reports and conferences are used by Fortune 500 companies, government officials and investors alike due to their ability to provide a comprehensive picture of each individual metro area's economic business landscape, as well as their ability to promote the best features of each city. Capital Analytics' Advertising Account Executive is an inside sales position responsible for putting together our annual economic reports and large-scale conferences through sponsorship and advertising sales. For each annual project, our Executive Directors meet with hundreds of top CEOs, thought leaders and decision makers to increase revenue, secure annual advertising contracts and expand activity across all our Invest: platforms.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee development for our media platform, the Invest: seriesDrive revenue through selling sponsorship/advertising opportunities to CEOs and senior management across our media platform (Printed advertisement, Digital campaigns, Event Sponsorships, etc.)After initial event training, manage our strategic sales cycles while continually focusing on client goals and company success metricsLead generation through warm calls, cold calls, emails, networking events, follow-up, meetings and closesBuild and maintain good relationships with local CEOs, decision-makers and government officials, setting up approximately 15 meetings a weekUnderstand what is happening in the marketplace at all times and how to deliver appropriate proposals to clientsBecome an expert at selling Capital Analytics' products and manage the growth and development of several strategic relationships with clients and organizationsAssist national sales team when needed in local market initiativesContinue to build a book of business by consistently gathering leads based on information from events, direct mail responses, business directories, websites and other sourcesPerform monthly sales goal and company initiativesOvercome technical and business objections of prospective clientsEmphasize salable features, quote prices and credit terms to prospective customersMaintain contact information and sales activities by creating and updating internal records in our CRM programInvestigate and resolve client concernsPlan and execute annual conferences and events with direction and guidance from HQRequirements: 2-5 years of sales experienceSelf-motivated go-getter in an ever-changing advertising industryStrong presentation skills and storytelling skillsExercise excellent time-management and organizational skillsThrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentWhat Are the Benefits?
