We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure and Systems Administrator to join our global IT team, leading key projects in managing infrastructures both in the cloud and physical environments. As a Senior Infrastructure and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration and support of production and back-office environments, cloud infrastructure management, and the implementation of security and disaster recovery policies. You will play a key role in resolving critical technical issues and collaborate closely with development teams, database teams, and other business areas to ensure the continuity and security of our services.
This position requires advanced experience in cloud infrastructure management (Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services), as well as server and operating system management (Windows and Linux). You will also be part of the 24x7 second-level support team, providing assistance in critical situations.
Main Responsibilities:Advanced systems administration support (Levels 1 and 2): Direct responsibility for IT infrastructure administration, including production and back-office environments, ensuring system security and availability.Active participation in IT production projects: Lead or collaborate on technical projects within the production team, ensuring deadlines and established guidelines are met.Technical evaluation and execution of systems administration tasks: Infrastructure management, system monitoring, change control policy implementation, corporate applications, storage systems, backup policies, and issue resolution.Cloud infrastructure management: Administer and optimize environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), ensuring scalability and reliability of services.Advanced support for development and database teams: Collaborate with other technical teams within the company to resolve system issues and ensure proper integration of solutions.Implementation of backup and disaster recovery policies: Develop and oversee disaster recovery policies and procedures, ensuring their correct application.Collaboration with business areas: Maintain clear communication with other areas of the company to identify and effectively resolve system issues.Continuous improvement of data centers: Identify and propose global solutions that enhance IT infrastructure, optimizing efficiency and security of data centers worldwide.On-call service (24x7) for second-level support: Participate in the on-call service as part of the second-level support team, once internal training is completed.Responsibility for information security management: Safeguard confidential information related to user activities, emails, network architecture, and corporate access to internal applications. Requirements:Degree in Computer Engineering, Systems, or related fields.3+ years of experience in systems and network administration, with a focus on production and back-office environments.Advanced experience in operating system administration (Windows and Linux) and server management.Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructures (GCP, AWS), including cloud environment administration and optimization.Proven skills in troubleshooting and resolving complex IT infrastructure issues.In-depth knowledge of current applications and technological services applied to corporate infrastructure.Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other technical and business areas.Attention to detail, with a rigorous focus on process documentation and continuous improvement.Proactivity and ability to research, integrate, and implement effective and cost-efficient solutions.
