Description
China is the biggest passenger car market for Mercedes-Benz. In Mercedes-Benz R&D China. We strive to provide China-fit ADAS/AD products through advanced technologies to our Chinese customers. We are currently looking for ADAS/AD experts who share the same passion and enthusiasm for developing a China-fit ADAS/AD system.
In this position, you will be part of the AD Fleet Learning, Data & Backend team in R&D China and responsible for shadow mode development in ADAS/AD system. You will be working with different Mercedes-Benz carlines and different function owners.
As a senior member of the team , you will be responsible for system level shadow mode specification. You will also manage supplier on shadow mode development, perform test and validate shadow mode module. You should have strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. 
Qualifications
• Bachelor in Electrical or Computer Science, Vehicle engineering, or related field of study 
• Deep understanding of shadow mode concept as well as big data solutions in ADAS/AD domain in the industry, include the objective ,benefit, frontend/backend resources usage, and the basic mechanism.
• Experience with ADAS/AD system, domain controller, AUTOSAR AP/ROS/Apollo CyberRT and data collector development
• Experience in cooperation with multi-partners for on-board SW deployment.
• Ability to develop triggering & filtering management SW (C++).
• Familiar with getting technical (CPU loading, Bandwidth, RAM, NVM)/compliance boundary (judgement of personal information, sensitive areas or potential map & surveing related activities)
• Ability to make software and hardware requirements, technical implementation and testing methodologies 
• Supplier management and interpersonal skills, able to drive alignment across different teams and ensure an end-to-end functional Shadow Mode Loop incl. both onboard and offboard parts. Self-responsible working attitude and initiative
• Ideally knowledge about onboard SW flashing technologies as well as OTA.
• Ability to test and validate Shadow Mode on system and sw level by means of test bench or vehicle. Drive bug-fixing with related partners or suppliers
• Driving license is mandatory
• Fluent English language skills prefered
• Willingness to travel inside China and abroad
