This is a roll-up-your-sleeves type of role, where you should genuinely enjoy analyzing financial statements, crunching numbers, and ensure that our accounting function runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
The role reports directly to the Accounting Manager and it's a full-time position.
RequirementsPrepare and book accruals and manual journal entries and its respective supporting documents;Collaborate on the monthly close of the books;Identify accounting issues and offer solutions;Prepare monthly reconciliation of assigned accounts;Work with supply chain department in order to analyze costs on a monthly basis to get the accurate and real numbers;Prepare different reports and internal controls;Support with all the administrative tasks related to accounts payable and taxSupport in the external audit;P&L and Balance sheet analysis and statistics information against budgets and Forecasts and check data accuracy;Participate in the ERP implementation;Offer advanced analysis and review of financial transactions for troubleshooting and correcting errors in the organization's financial system;Evaluate, certify, and coordinate ledger entries in adherence to rules, while guaranteeing that close activities are accomplished promptly and accuratelyQualificationsDegree in Accounting2+ years of experience in Accounting, Audit, Finance Compliance process/cycles knowledgeGood communication skillsMust be collaborative, able to build and maintain strong relationships, manage expectations, attend to details, multi-task and prioritize effectivelyKeen sense of curiosity and open-minded thought process desiredAbility to work under tight deadlines and plan, organize and carry out multiple, detailed tasks simultaneously.Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environmentFluent in EnglishKnowledge of Netsuite is a plus
