We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and strategic professional to assume the position of Market Access Associate Director. You will be a key member of the startup team and you will work with the entire payor ecosystem in the South Cone (Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay), enabling interactions with internal and external stakeholders based on individual contacts, educational events and access projects. You will define and implement the access strategy locally and support the generation and communication of tailored-solutions and pharma economic value dossiers. You will act as the primary point of contact with payors and ensure good communication across the internal teams.
You will report to the Cluster Head of South Cone & Mexico. Responsibilities
Lead a cross-functional work with aim to define market access strategy for portfolio of product; in the public, private and social security institutions, and clearly communicate and ensure alignment with both internal and external stakeholders.Ensure Market Access excellence by obtaining the optimal pricing and launch timing in collaboration with the relevant departments in the company.Explore and identify key stakeholders in-market and establishes relationships with key influencers and decision makers to develop and implement innovative market access approaches for new products brought to market by Medison.Has a deep understanding of the South Cone countries political environment and healthcare structure and an expertise especially in the area of market access and delivers a government policy in the different therapeutic areas where Medison is active.Oversee and drive cooperation between local teams, vendors and respective functions in Partners' teams to execute against all above objectives.Lead the process of preparing local (national) pricing & reimbursement files and ensure a smooth transition from named-patient sales (RAEM) to post MA commercialization.Plan and supports and supervises execution of listing negotiations through cross-departmental collaboration, applying integrated account models.Develop tailored tactics and tools that support building government relations, both on national and local level for the Public, Private and Social Security institutionsSupport development of go-to-market models and integrates information on product value to support strategies for optimizing revenues, reimbursement, and formulary positioning in respective countries.Explore, identify, and foster trust-based working relationships with key national, regional and local stakeholders to facilitate bringing new products consistently and efficiently to marketWorks cross-functionally with global and local medical and commercial functions and local Country teams within the ClusterInitiate and drives disease awareness projects, advocacy activities with KOLs, patient organizations and health authorities; ensure cross functional cooperation.Requirements
Proven ability to understand and clearly communicate medical, scientific, legal and economic topics.Excellent understanding of and experience in pharmaceutical product pricing & reimbursement and listing processes, including processes for clinical guidelines, health economics and formularies in both named patient sales (RAEM) and post marketing authorization commercialization settings.Ability to develop and keep trust-based relationships with market access key influencers.Problem solving mindset.Ability to analyze and manage high amounts of information to contribute to market access files.Ability to influence others and to communicate and influence at all levels internally and externally.Ability to combine strategic vision with tactical hands-on execution.University degree in Science (preferably MD or Pharmacist) with understanding of Health Economics, law and/or business.At least 5 years of experience in Market Access in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industryExperience in Rare diseases, Specialty Pharmaceuticals and Oncology is desired.Experience in working in more than 1 market in the Cluster is a preferable advantage.
