The Latin America (LATAM) Finance Business Performance Management (BPM) team are the dedicated finance business partners to our LATAM Regional Sales, Construction, Service and Manufacturing operations. We are an internationally diverse team, physically located in multiple countries across the region. Together with our primary operational stakeholders, we focus on Performance Management, Business Finance, Business Controlling and Finance Business Partnering. The Service Finance team specifically partners with Service Operations. As one of the two AR/AP Analysts - Argentina, you will be physically located in Buenos Aires, AR, and reporting to the LAT Finance BPM Service Director, who is located in São Paulo, BR. Your primary stakeholders will be located in Buenos Aires, AR, Santiago, CL, and Manila, PH. Responsibilities: Proactively engage and collaborate, as applicable, with LAT Regional Finance, other operational stakeholders, Finance SSC, Global Treasury, and Global Sourcing, to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality.Prepare daily and monthly AR/AP reports and accompanying schedules and specifications.Perform scheduled and urgent payments by the defined and agreed Vestas Standard Operating Procedures.Investigate and resolve payment-related issues (duplicate, rejected, and returned payments).Ensure that payment specifications are in place and being sent to the vendors after every payment run schedule.Perform manual payment clearing as needed.Request statements of account from identified critical vendors regularly and perform reconciliation.Monitor and resolve issues for non-payment of overdue invoices, from missing invoice copies to posting to the system up to payment. Inform concerned parties of the status promptly.Submit all internal controls documentation tagged under the Accounts Payable process on or before the deadline.Follow up and resolve issues for unbilled billing documents, blocked accounting invoices, and unapplied payments.Send invoice copies to external customers.Ensure that all incoming payments are properly allocated and booked in the system on or before the month-end.Coordinate with regional colleagues for the specification of other unknown incoming payments.Perform customer accounting clearing.Validate customer refund requests, as applicable.Follow up on outstanding external customer balances, as applicable.Provide timely and accurate support to both finance and operation colleagues in issue resolutions.Assist in developing best practices and knowledge sharing with team members.Qualifications: Relevant experience with accounting & cost controlling (project/contract experience preferred).Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.Previous experience in Wind energy is advantageous (but not required).Experience with systems including MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint) required and SAP, SAP BI, SAP BPC experience is beneficial.Strong proficiencies in both spoken and written English, the official language of Vestas, is required.
