The RoleTo assist with the provision of the pharmacy service by participating in:
The accurate and safe assembly of medicines to be dispensedThe accurate and safe receipt, storage, distribution and delivery of medicinesThe production, monitoring and filing of documentationWhat we'll need you to bringScottish Vocational Qualification Pharmacy Services Level II or working towards or equivalent experience.
Or Postholders with no previous experience will be treated in accordance with Annex 21 Arrangements for Pay and Banding of Trainees.
Initial induction period of up to 3 months, followed by a period of training and consolidation to achieve full competency within 12 months following induction.
Be capable of understanding and working within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Commitment to CPD / Self motivation / Ability to work unsupervised.
Able to plan, prioritise and organise workload and to work under pressure.
Able to take direction, work under their own initiative and as part of a team.
Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrate customer awareness/focus.
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Willingness to contribute to the general working of the pharmacy department.
It would be great if you also haveExperience of working in hospital or community pharmacy.
Experience dealing with members of the public.

Location and Working PatternThis role will be based in Pharmacy within University Hospital Monklands.
The working pattern for this role is Mon-Fri.
