We as Mercedes-Benz Insurance Services are responsible for insurance management within the Mercedes-Benz Group. Amongst others, we are focusing our activities on the worldwide development of automotive insurance products. We are also responsible for corporate insurance and risk management within the Mercedes-Benz Group. Furthermore the Mercedes-Benz Versicherungsservice GmbH provides health insurance & pension services for all employees within the Mercedes-Benz Group in Germany.

We want to further implement our Insurance related digital initiatives and enable business transformation for our markets.
Your contribution: You act as readiness specialist and will ensure that in close collaboration with the market(s), you have defined scope and timelines, customer journey(s) and sales channels agreed, so a market is prepared for a subsequent digital implementation. You also ensure with your local counterparts, compliance with local legal and data protection requirements and keep an eye on budget, business case and regular reporting as well as internal and external stakeholder management (insurers, third parties). You will closely interact with our internal IPOS (Internal Platform of Services) scrum team and our Global Digital Solutions team to ensure a smooth internal alignment and IT development.
Description of the Main Tasks:
1. Your tasks will be:
Drive digitalization of the insurance business in close cooperation with Mercedes-Benz Insurance Services Headquarters, Strategy & Performance Centers, local insurance managers and Global Digital Solutions department (Stakeholder management, Scrum team, Products and Pricing, Customer Journeys, Business Models) as well as Mercedes-Benz Mobility counterparts Prepare for local market readiness of integrating Insurance into direct customer and dealer sales channels, stand alone or integrated in brand partner journeys by using our internal insurance platform (IPOS) Take ownership of your allocated market(s) in Europe to ensure the readiness for implementing digital solutions: You proactively prepare the necessary analysis, alignments and inputs jointly with the market and central colleagues to ensure the market readiness prior to the IT development (e.g. Insurer, product, customer journey, legal and data protection etc.) You drive standardization of customer journeys, products, approaches whilst identifying any critical issues to be reflected under local regulatory, legal and data compliance aspects You structure, organize, prepare and align for committees, management meetings, regular readiness related meetings incl. minutes and follow-ups You prepare high quality presentations, i.e. for steering committees, internal briefings and meetings, conferences, townhalls, (virtual) market visits etc. including respective follow-ups You establish a project plan to implement the multiple readiness tasks and track milestones, identify and monitor risks and dependencies and take care of counter measures in alignment with your manager and the project team You take ownership of workshop preparations and moderations as well as respective documentation and follow-ups You assure the exchange of best practices experiences and cooperation with other colleagues across departments and entities You work closely together with your manager, market(s) as well as other Insurance/MBM colleagues and are the knowledgeable counterpart for Insurance 2. Development of:
A close and trustful working relationship within Mercedes-Benz Insurance Services, Mercedes-Benz Mobility and Mercedes-Benz Group as well as the local markets Local market readiness to ensure realization of digital initiatives under consideration of global activities 3. Contribution:
Supporting the digital knowledge transfer within Mercedes-Benz Mobility countries and towards Mercedes-Benz Close alignment and overall collaboration with specific relevant MBIS, MBM and MB divisions and projects within the region 4. Ensuring;
Fast and direct communication to all stakeholders regarding main digital topics and initiatives Adequate support of business activities, especially those with focus on digitalized insurance value chain Qualifications Education:
Degree in business administration, business informatics or equivalent level of education
Experience and specific knowledge:
Experience abroad/intercultural experiences
Good expertise in financial services, esp. insurance business
Knowledge of methodologies of agile working methods and tools (Jira, Confluence, Kanban) and preparation/implementation of digital solutions Preferably at least three years of operational experience Preferably knowledge of Mercedes-Benz Mobility/Mercedes-Benz Group processes and procedures with regards to the Mercedes-Benz sales organization
Preferably knowledge of automotive sales and marketing processes
Profound and very deep knowledge in all MS Office Products (Powerpoint, Excel)
Contractual Level or native English, German language skills are a plus and preferably other foreign languages
Analytical skills; thinks and acts as an entrepreneur
Very good understanding of and dedication for digital business
Distinct social competency to interact across departments and reporting lines Proactive, structured and committed individual with solution orientation and very good communication skills
