As a QA Automation, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the software and financial products that the company offers to its customers, through the automation of tests and the identification of issues and errors in the development process PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES • Design, develop, and execute end-to-end automated tests for financial applications and systems. • Identify and document bugs, issues, and deficiencies in software, and collaborate with developers and other team members to fix them. • Participate in the review of requirements, specifications, designs, and technical documentation to ensure quality requirements are met at all stages of the software lifecycle. • Perform integration and performance testing, and monitor and analyze metrics and results to improve software quality and performance. • Participate in the planning, coordination and execution of regression testing, as well as in the development of test plans and test cases. • Maintain and update testing documentation and quality reports, and collaborate in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies. 3. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Skills: • Excellent attention to detail and good analytical skills to understand complex operations at the business level. • Good communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge/Abilities: • +5 years of experience in a QA Automation position. • Practical knowledge in programming languages and automated testing frameworks, such as Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, JMeter, PyTest, or similar. • Experience working in agile environments. • Knowledge in languages such as C# .Net will be valuable, as well as previous experience in testing financial applications (e.g., banking, Fintech, insurance). • Good knowledge in the use of tools such as Jira and Confluence. • BDD methodologies (Gherkin, Cucumber). • Knowledge in databases (SQL Server, Postgres, CosmosDB, or similar). Knowledge of Jmeter.
