WELLNESS PROGRAM STRATEGIC PLANNER Concurrent Technologies Corporation Washington DC Minimum Clearance Required: Secret Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: Secret Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) seeks a skilled Wellness Program Strategic Planner to lead and manage health promotion and wellness policy initiatives for the Department of Defense (DoD).
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in policy development, strategic planning, and program management to support the advancement of DoD health promotion and wellness objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Policy Development and Coordination: Develop, draft, revise, and manage the coordination process for DoD policy issuances related to health promotion and wellness.
Conduct regular policy environmental scans to understand health promotion policies and ownership across the defense enterprise.
Coordinate with related policy owners to ensure comprehensive integration and alignment of health promotion policies.
Strategy and Performance Management: Provide expert advice on the development and maintenance of health promotion and wellness strategies and key performance indicators.
Assist in the creation and refinement of strategic plans to meet DoD health objectives and performance metrics.
Research and Analysis: Support studies, research, and analysis efforts related to health promotion and wellness.
Prepare reports and presentations for diverse audiences, including defense executives, to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
Program Analysis and Strategic Planning: Provide program analysis and strategic planning support for the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and DoD Strategic Programs and Initiatives.
Identify, scope, and implement strategic programs, initiatives, and tasks, including the development and execution of long-range strategic plans.
Consulting and Support: Offer expert consulting services to support quick-response, limited-term, and highly specialized DHA requirements.
Identify and track emerging issues and trends, providing timely research, analysis, recommendations, and strategic support.
Communication and Outreach: Support the planning and execution of conferences, events, and strategic initiatives related to health promotion and wellness.
Develop written products and deliver presentations to effectively communicate strategic recommendations and updates.
Basic Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., Public Health, Health Administration, Business Administration).
Experience Eight (8) or more years of experience as a Project Manager in Federal front-office operations, readiness, talent management, manpower & reserve affairs, defense healthcare, force resiliency, or functional financial management.
Experience in managing professional services contracts at the task order level.
Expertise in developing and managing health promotion and wellness strategies.
Strong analytical, research, and strategic planning capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage complex policy and programmatic initiatives.
Certifications: Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
