Job Overview Optimize product sales performance, market segment penetration and profitability. Develop product life-cycle management tactics and new product launch strategies/tactics. Ensure product accuracy and readiness date amongst all internal and external business partners (web content, brochures, advertisements, collateral, training, PR, etc.). Develop and ensure that strategic marketing and product plans are driven by U.S. market and customer requirements. Collaborate with other departments (MBUSA/DAG) on strategic and tactical planning. Maximize customer satisfaction for the assigned product lines and facilitate customer inquiries via product expertise. Develop and implement life cycle product strategies for each model line and oversee aspects of product/model year launches. Develop annual budget submission; achieve objectives within approved annual budget.
Responsibilities Maximize sales performance via the development, implementation and maintenance of customer-driven and profitable strategic and product plans for the assigned product lines.
Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited school) or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Must have 10 years of experience in the following:
Business - General: Comprehensive Knowledge of fundamental business practices and concepts that impact the success and profitability of the organization.Business Management: Proficient Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, human resource management and efficiency and process methods.Communications Planning: Knowledge of marketing research sources and data analysis techniques, marketing plan development process, strategic and creative integration techniques, marketing team organization and operational processes.Public Relations: Proficient Knowledge of principles of effective communications, mass media, publicity, advertising, and community relations.Additional Information Must possess excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.Must have excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work with simultaneous projects and deadline pressure.Must be able to clearly and convincingly articulate strategies, tactics and product plans to dealer groups and press.Must be skilled in budget preparation and administration, staff development and administration.Must have strong Quantitative Skills (including Financial Analysis).EEO Statement Mercedes-Benz USA is committed to fostering an inclusive environment that appreciates and leverages the diversity of our team.
