Job Title: Sr. Program Manager Level: L5
Education and Experience: Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent with 15+ years of experience.ITIL V4.0, High performance computing, Software Asset Management tools, Datacenter Operations.Job Responsibilities: Technical Validations for the business IT requirements.Implementing project plans within preset budgets and deadlines and holding review meetings to monitor progress of the projects with a view to deliver it on time.Leading, mentoring & monitoring the performance of team members to ensure efficiency in process operations and meeting of individual & group targets.Accountable for Service/Infra Design and build (Capacity, Continuity, Availability, Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration).Manage Core Infra which comprises of Servers, Storage, Backup, Restore, Network, Virtualization, HPCC and Data Centre.Project Management for improvement and extension projects.Experience in Service Portfolio Management for the IT Operations.Strong Business relationship management and enabling business and engineering teams for addressing their IT requirements/challenges/issues.Performance Testing and Benchmarking Infrastructure components based on project needs.Demand and Capacity management and planning, designing, developing and maintenance of various Server environments (Prod, Dev, Test etc.).Responsible for Service Level Management (Service level requirements (SLR), SLA monitoring (SLAM), service level improvement (SIP), service review (SR)).Identification, transition and implementation of IT infrastructure operation and services.Financial Management for building and running the IT Operations.Software Asset Management (License Optimization, Process improvements & Governance).Technical Skills: High performance computingHands-on experience with Queuing systems Open PBS, PBS-Pro, SLRUM, and Job scheduling techniques.Familiar with NAS, Lustre storage systems, Infiniband interconnects, MPI, Cluster build etc.Monitoring tools like Ganglia, Graphana, Altair suite of products like Compute Manager, HPC Analytics.License Monitoring & management of all the Engineering software, License Managers etc.Pre/Post processing Infrastructure (Horizon, Citrix, NiceDCV).General InfrastructureVMware Technologies (VRealize Automation center, VSphere).Non-Technical Skills: Proficient in leading and building cohesive teams and work with global diverse teams in a matrixed managed environment.Highly motivated individual, with a positive & pro-active attitude to work, and willingness to make changes to improve operational efficiency through innovation, process and procedure, and adopting and adapting ideas and practices from elsewhere.Initiates dialogue, encourages discussion and shares knowledge willingly.Experience of managing multiple stakeholders.Strong oral and written communication skills.Establishing, developing and monitoring existing relationships with suppliers, service providers and third parties to improve services, while driving down cost.OrganizationMercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited
