Objectives Lead Software Team for Security, Update/OTA and Telematics in RD C Software Department for Intelligent Component Products. Lead vehicle ECU Update and OTA onboard development, release and roll-out for China-specific version as market function owner to support MB's product transformation. As part of global security teams, lead security technology including requirements, design, implementation, and testing to meet the needs of the Chinese market. Lead China telematics software development and delivery and cross-domain SDV innovation and technology as enabler function research, development, and roll-out in series products.
Build up team, mentor, grow and retain teams. Set up a results-oriented culture and strive for excellence to exceed internal and external customer expectations.
Qualifications Education · Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science, Automation, or similar majors
Experience · 10+ years working experience in software or system engineering in automotive; 5+ years of management experience in software or related automotive product teams' management experience.
· Proficient technical understanding of embedded or complex software systems, on-board/off-board OTA experience in automotive products, operation and roll-out; cyber security technology; and telematics products and software; knowledge of software-defined vehicle (SDV) and next-gen EEA solutions.
· Familiar with Autosar, Linux, QNX, Android, and any POSIX OS architecture, and have a full understanding of ECU software development process systems such as ASPICE, CMMI, etc.
· Fluent understanding of agile methodologies, with experience in SAFE framework execution in production projects.
· Remain focused on challenging goals while understanding the impact of change on multiple systems; successfully and effectively in a global team environment; experience in a leadership role in managing technical teams is essential.
· Ability to resolve conflicts and mediate; independent and systematic thinking.
· Fluent English language skills (spoken and written); German language skills are a plus.
