We have an exciting opportunity as Senior Cost Accounting Specialist for Hydrocarbon & Energy Business, located in Bahia Blanca (ARG).
About you and this role - What you would do in this role: You will ensure accounting activity recorded within the company's records and books are accurate and complete. Responsible for budgeting, product costing, recording, reporting, analyzing and communicating functional/business activity results. Assists the function/business management teams in financial analysis necessary for decision-making.
Responsibilities: Records, monitors, reports, and communicates function/business results, and ensures activity is accurate, complete, and compliant to accounting standards.Completes product costing of materials, reviews for variances, and corrects/communicates results to business/plant management.Performs product inventory reviews and fixed asset reviews.Provides financial analysis to function/business management teams as needed for project studies, options analysis, and productivity/benchmarking measurements.Helps facilitate the budget setting process and monthly/quarterly estimate process.Demonstrates technical accounting ability through at least two years of directly applicable experience.Coordinates and assists internal partners to complete annual budgets in line with Corporate, Business and Functional guidelines and timing.Responsible for MRO for the entire site of Bahia Blanca.Proactively partners with internal partners and performs and supports cost reporting and analyses.Educates functional partners on Accounting Policies and internal control matters and advises on the potential impacts of their decisions.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Economics.Advanced English level.3+ Years of Experience in Finance.Analytical thinking.Team player and business collaboration.Budgeting and forecasting.High attention to details, internal controls, and accuracy.Clear and concise communication.Problem-solving and good time management.To apply: Sign in or create your account.
