At Monks BA we are looking for a Semi Senior Art Director to conceptualize and craft pitch and award winning campaigns, digital content and assets for amazing brands across the world. You will be part of building and defining a new breed of creative agency with some of the most innovative digital, social, technology and production expertise at your disposal.
Responsibilities:
- Our ideal Art Director will not simply generate creative ideas and approach designs conceptually, but will also be expected to create visuals and bring those ideas to life.
- As part of our team, you'll be collaborating with creatives, copywriters, designers, animators, developers as well as with PMs, operations managers and a lot more talented people.
- Conceptualization, generation of ideas, campaign structure or narrative and creativity in executions.
- Highly digital focus.
- Pitching directly to our clients, you'll be shaping and selling concepts for brand content and social media campaigns.
- Working on multiple projects within a client dedicated team, you go above and beyond each brief to push what's possible on both a creative and technical level.
Role & Requirements:
- 3+ years as an Art Director where you show that you have taken responsibilities similar to that of the current position (Digital advertising, social, etc).
- 3+ years of experience conceptualizing, creating and understanding advertising strategies and idea generation.
- Experience in creation of visual concepts, art direction and creative direction.
- High-level creative thinking and the confidence to use it and an impressive conceptual outlook and ability to produce original ideas.
- Have an articulate understanding of fundamentals such as typography and storytelling. Also, experience in style proposals, sketches and mockups.
- Experienced with all stages of the design process, from innovative design thinking to finalizing layouts to spec.
- Highly experienced in crafting digital designs and ads.
- Slick Illustrator and Photoshop skills.
- Figma is nice to have!
- The confidence to share and present ideas internally and externally.
- Handling multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines.
- You can forecast production and concepting issues in order to ask the right questions to the client and team and give solutions to future problems.
- Strong communication skills in English.
