Section Lead, Telematics System Verification & Testing

Job Objective The applications and connected services of Telematics & Infotainment system are one major strategic and technological target field within our MB passenger cars. The main target of System Integration team is to act as final quality gate within Connectivity department to ensure our system fulfill with company's quality standard and ready to be introduced to China Market. As section lead of Telematics System integration, responsible for
- Overall system validation of in-vehicle applications and services for corresponding telematics generations which will be introduced into different MB carlines. According to given SW release plans the system maturity needs to be evaluated and rated for each SW release
- Work as interface to other RD department regarding telematics onboard topics
- Supervise and support team work progress, adjust task priorities, distribute workload, and ensure timely quality work, reporting to the Supervisor in regular basis.
- Support senior manager in team recruitment according to the business needs.
- Mentoring and coaching to team members, enhance team skills and capabilities.
- Prepare and participate in performance evaluations to ensure the team member's development.
- Guide the team in addressing critical topics and issues, working closely with team members to devise effective solutions.
- Coordinate with different stakeholders to drive and deliver best MBOS for our customer.
Qualifications
Qualification Education
- Bachelors Degree in electric engineering, software engineering, computer science or similar majors, Master Degree preferred
Experience
- At least 5 years working experience in the Telematics and Infotainment domain
- Experience of OEM development processes and development cycles
Specific Knowledge
- Profound knowledge of in-car infotainment systems and vehicle development
- Deep knowledge in testing and validation processes considering manual and automated testing
- Excellent project management skills and problems solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English (German as a plus)
