Chevron is seeking a candidate to join asSAP PRA team memberto provide functional upstream accounting and SAP technical expertise in support of Chevron's Finance Shared Services organization. The work scope involvestroubleshooting, analysis, coordinationanddeploymentof SAP PRA solutions for Chevron's Global Finance functions, in areas such as Production & Regulatory Reporting, Ownership, Revenue, and Tax & Royalty.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Facilitate the support and implementation of SAP Financials PRA (Production Revenue and Accounting)
Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements.
Design, customize, configure and testing of PRA modules.
Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
Document functional designs, test cases and results.
Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior member.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, I.T. or related fields.
• Above 3 years of system application support or implementation experience.
• Excellent customer focus and results-orientation.
• Good English communication skills in both oral and written.
• Occasional international travel could be required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience in working on S/4 in SAP PRA module
• Ability to Read/Write ABAP programming language.
• Experience working in a global, multi-cultural IT Support Model environment.
