As MBOS Map Architect, you will work with other domain or system architects to define the map feature, map application roadmap, and technology tree for the future of Mercedes-Benz vehicles. You need to ensure that Mercedes-Benz always has a map product best fit for the China market and make Mercedes-Benz cars competitive. To achieve these goals, you will also be responsible for ramping up the competencies of the team to face the challenges ahead.

Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Surveying and Mapping, Computer Sciences, Telecommunications, Vehicle Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
Experience: 8+ years of experience in development/integration projects for map-related functions in Automotive, such as map platforms, navigation, ADAS, etc., with extraordinary hands-on experience.
Specific Knowledge: Outstanding expert knowledge of map technologies and businesses for the automotive industry.Solid experience as an architect for map or navigation applications in automotive.Experience in Android-based automotive application architecture is a plus.Strong expertise in system design, integration, optimization, and operation.Proficiency in any programming languages for rapid prototyping.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Good team player; leadership experience is a plus.Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to maps for automotive.Fluent in Chinese and English; German knowledge is helpful.
