**ACCOUNT LEAD ONCOHEMATOLOGY**
**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**
The Account Lead is responsible for promoting and generating clinical demand for Oncohematology brands with key HCPs and accounts, pro-actively identifying business opportunities, presenting value propositions aligned to stakeholder needs and objectives, and recommending solutions to drive and develop business.
The long-term goal is to develop strategic and mutually beneficial relationships with the Multi-Disciplinary Team, decision making unit, and potentially other stakeholders, based on a deep scientific understanding of the patient journey in order to identify the best opportunities to deliver life-changing medicines to patients.
This role will report to the Oncohematology Sales Manager and work with key stakeholders.
**Accountabilities**
**Develop account strategy and plans**
- Identify opportunities and strategies to improve positioning Oncohematology products within assigned territory.
- Formulate and implement effective strategies to achieve sales goals and products positioning strategies.
- Work with Sales Manager to develop a local strategy, business plan & account planning to meet targets and further improve positioning of the portfolio.
- Provide market place insights and feedback to the Oncology Marketing and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with others to foster greater coordination around our promotional efforts.
**Create deep stakeholder relationships**
- Engage Oncohematologists HCPs in dialogue about on-label indications, product efficacy / safety profiles and treatment protocols to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.
- Establish and maintain ongoing, long term collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
- Build knowledge and understanding about overall Oncology value proposition, and product's labelled indications and efficacy data among all relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain a high degree of competence in the areas of product knowledge, industry/competitive landscape.
- Utilize different communication approaches, techniques and channels to help build knowledge in medical community, integrating digital tools into the promotional communication plan.
- Conduct science-based discussions with the HCP as per the approved indications of products.
- Arrange multidisciplinary workshops for physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Arrange and coordinate effective speaker programs with physician advocates and KOLs.

- Successfully complete all training requirements, including product examinations
- Comply with all external regulations and internal policies
- Comply with all company Compliance Guidelines, Code of Conduct and Promotional Practices and follow Takeda's Compliance Policies and Procedures, especially when integrating with Patient Groups.

**Education & Experience**:
- Minimum 3 years' experience with Oncology or high-cost molecules is mandatory
- University degree in Science is preferable
- English as a second language is a nice to have
- General knowledge of the methodology for Access in hight-cost medications
- Knowledge of buying process in private & public sector
