We have opportunities for both Apprentice HGV Technician and Apprentice Light Vehicle (Van) Technician. What's in it for you: Learn and become experienced in the fundamentals of a vehicle Technician role, including servicing, inspections, maintenance, repair and diagnostics.The chance to be mentored by a highly experienced eStar Technician, who will be your support throughout the course of the apprenticeship.First-hand experience of the latest Mercedes-Benz and Daimler innovation and technology.Tutor and peer support through Remit Training with block release learning sessions in Derby (HGV), or Mercedes-Benz Training Academy in Milton Keynes (Van).Complete the 3-year apprenticeship and finish with an industry-recognised Level 3 qualification.£6.40 per hour in your first year, after which rate is in line with National Minimum Wage.Based onsite in Stoke.40 hours per week, generally Monday - Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 (exact shift times to be confirmed).23 days' holiday each year plus bank holidays.Company pension.Cycle to work scheme.Discounted gym membership.Discounted cinema tickets.Enhanced maternity pay.Enhanced paternity pay.Free eye tests.Free fruit.Free menstrual products.Free on-site parking.Health Care Plan.Life assurance.Long service awards.Sick pay.Qualifications Required: GCSE 9 - 4 (A* - C) or Function Skills Level 2 in Maths and English.Predicted GCSE grades are acceptable - please note the apprenticeship offer is subject to final GCSE results.Personal Qualities: An interest in the motor industry and motor mechanics.Interested in a hands-on role.Proactive attitude and enthusiasm for learning new skills.Punctual with good timekeeping.Motivation to succeed and work to a high standard.Skills Required: A logical approach to problem solving.Good verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work methodically and follow instructions.Ability to work well both independently and in a team.Interested in applying?
