We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with both our Perform team and client teams to ensure the highest quality of our software products through comprehensive testing processes. This role involves planning, executing, and documenting manual tests, as well as reporting and debugging defects.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with Perform and client teams to understand project requirements and objectives.Develop detailed QA test plans to ensure thorough testing coverage.Conduct manual testing for web-based and client-server applications.Document and maintain detailed test cases.Report defects and communicate QA issues to the development team.Debug issues and provide clear and concise communication with developers.Create custom QA reports and analyses covering test coverage, defects, and overall testing status.Required Skills: Black Box testingFunctional Web TestingTest case writingQA analysis, gathering, and reportingQA testing plan creation and documentationAPI testing with Postman (nice to have)Experience with various testing types including smoke, stress, white box, regression, integration, and sanity testingEnd-to-End (E2E) testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Proficiency in SQL queriesUnderstanding of application architecturesExperience with server installation and VM installationFamiliarity with Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as EclipseWe require a very strong level of English communication skills, both written and verbal.Experience working with a US-based client.Nice to have: Ability to communicate effectively with clientsProfessional demeanor and confident in describing skills and knowledgeAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience working in a US-based environmentSolution-oriented mindsetSelf-disciplined and comfortable with remote work
