What does a Graphic Production Artist do at Hogarth?
The Hogarth Worldwide team is looking for a Graphic Production Artist with expertise in Photoshop for website production. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the interactive space and its production requirements including resolution and outputs. In addition, candidates must be detail-oriented, comfortable working with multiple servers, organized, undaunted by working under tight deadlines, and have a keen eye for image quality.
Key responsibilities: Update product imagery and UI elements in Photoshop comps, and output web graphicsStructure Photoshop comps to optimize efficient production and localization workflows using slices, smart objects, and layer compsReview final deliverables with an exacting eye, ensuring that layout, images, text, and links are flawlessTrack and check-in web graphics and visual assets using a version control systemEnsure project deadlines are met with accurate file handoffs for localizationSupport training of newer team membersRequirements: 3-5 years experience in a hands-on, high-volume web or HTML email design and publishing environment (or equivalent)Photoshop expertise, particularly setting up files for web production and adhering to graphic design standardsExcellent design and typography sensibilities applicable to web pages and HTML emailFamiliarity with Sketch and GiTSolid standards-based HTML, CSS, and general web publishing knowledgeHighly detail oriented, with a drive for perfection down to the last pixelThrives in a challenging, fast-paced web publishing workplaceSelf-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skillsEstablishes rapport and collaborates easily with designers and web developersAble to adhere to a consistent graphic production and check-in process, while also identifying opportunities for improvementResourceful, adaptable, creative, and results-oriented with high energy and a positive attitudeDiversity & Inclusion Hogarth is an equal-opportunity employer.
