We are a full-service provider and a distributor for an exclusive worldwide manufacturer of food service equipment to the Rocky Mountain region. We work with a wide variety of food service establishments finding the right equipment solutions and avenues to be more profitable for our customers. Our Customer Service philosophy and personal stake in our associates are what set us apart from the competition. We are growing our team and currently looking for a well-qualified Human Resource Specialist with experience in Payroll. The equipment we service includes "cold" side and "hot side" cooking equipment. Soft serve ice cream machines, shakes, frozen yogurt, grills, speed ovens, conveyor ovens, custard machines, frozen dessert machines, frozen beverage machines and the list goes on and on.

Position Overview:
Seeking a versatile Human Resource Specialist adept at steering both Human Resource and assisting with Payroll functions, with a special emphasis on managing a diverse and hybrid workforce. This pivotal role is about fostering a positive, inclusive, and flexible work culture, ensuring compliance with state labor laws, and orchestrating seamless compensation and benefits administration.
Responsibilities: Relentlessly deliver high quality amazing work.Design and implement HR and Payroll strategies consistent with company goals.Supervise the full recruitment lifecycle, emphasizing hiring for both in-house and remote roles.Manage accurate and compliant employee records.Maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and HR policies, programs, and practices.Promote a health and safety-oriented work culture.Oversee recruitment efforts for all personnel, including writing and placing job ads.Oversee monthly payroll, guaranteeing precise and punctual compensation.Ensure adherence to Colorado's labor regulations and pertinent industry norms.Administer benefits programs, including health coverage, 401(k), and leave policies.Address and resolve employee queries and grievances, emphasizing cultural sensitivity and flexibility for hybrid work environments.Champion an inclusive work culture that values diversity and supports both on-site and remote work modalities.Champion employee onboarding and organize orientation and training sessions.Uphold a positive work environment, prioritizing employee engagement and retention.Advance health and safety protocols within the company.Work closely with the Controller to align payroll and financial reporting.Stay updated on trends and best practices in HR, payroll, and hybrid workforce management.Prepare and oversee the HR and payroll budget.Refine and enforce HR strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, and compensation.Collaborate with finance to synchronize payroll and financial reporting.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or akin. Master's degree preferred.At least 5 years of combined experience in HR and payroll, with a proven methodology and track record in managing diverse and hybrid teams.Experience within a service and distribution business model is preferred.Sharp analytical and problem-solving flair.Stellar interpersonal and communication abilities.Embraces technology and innovation.Proven experience with HR metrics, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), and Payroll software tools.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR-specific software.Professional certifications in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP) or Payroll (e.g., CPP) will be advantageous.Possess the skills and knowledge to take a leadership role as needed to represent the job functions in meetings.Deal with customers, staff and other departments in a professional, courteous and assertive manner.Able to hold others accountable.Strategic, proactive, highly organized.
