Job Description - HR C&B Specialist(Direct Contract) (MER00037X0)
Description
Intro We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR C&B Specialist (Fixed term)  to join our team. 
This position is to lead three major key responsibilities as shared service for Mercedes-Benz entities in Korea: Entire payroll process, Benefit execution, HRIS system & data maintenance. They are in line with agreed shared scope and timeline, and policy & local law compliance.
Plan & Execute monthly payroll & Tax process: 
• Lead monthly and yearly payroll, statutory requirements and tax process incl. year-end tax settlement
• Prepare and deliver government required reports related to the payroll 
• Collaborate effectively with payroll & tax vendors ensuring 100% target delivery per agreed
KPI and contract
• Monitor payroll & tax vendors work quality and optimize overall payroll process via effective & proactive communication and education
• Prepare internal reports and report outs as needed
• Communicate proactively with Entity BPs for any upcoming changes that impacts to respective entities and employees
• Communicate and collaborate proactively with regional CoC (Payroll) manager and staff
for any upcoming changes or support needed 
Benefit Management:
• Plan and execute annual benefit plan timely via benefit mall including employee communication
• Monitor Benefit vendor and optimize overall payroll process via effective & proactive communication and education
• Support benefit benchmark survey
C&B Support:
• Support HR Operations manager for Labor cost analysis and budget process
• Support HR Operations manager benchmark survey and overall annual merit & variable bonus process
• Severance Accrual management by preparing the severance data for actuary report
• Ad-hoc HR Project Support
HRIS Key User and Employee data maintenance: 
• Maintain HRWT & flex timely and accurately per internal process 
• Trouble shoot in cooperation with Global Help Desk for HRIS system 
• HR system modification upon regulation change and global project
• Prepare internal reports as needed from the system
• Prepare for introduction of new HR system
Qualifications
Skills/Experience/Attributes:
• Min. 3 years working experiences in multinational payroll fieds
• Proficient in payroll & tax process and related law & policies 
• Structured thinking and process oriented 
• Good at problem solving and drives for results 
• Strong interpersonal communication skill both Korean and English
Specific Knowledge:
• Basic Accounting knowledge 
• Good understanding in C&B process
• Experience in leading and partnering with external vendors
Education/Training:
• 4years University Graduate in any fields

• Team player
