Develop safety concepts and strategies
Ensure compliance with national and international safety regulations
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to implement safety systems
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections
Provide training and guidance on safety procedures
Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety processes
Reports in a direct line to the Corporate EHS Director for EMEAA

A successful Functional Safety Engineer should have

Relevant educational qualifications in Engineering
Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing sector
Experience in performing Risk Assessment/ PHA
3 years experience in a similar role
TUV Certified in Functional Safety (Safety Instrumented Systems HW/SW Design acc. to IEC 61508 Functional Safety of Machinery)
Professional knowledge in English
