This is a Contract/Consultant position.
Generally, working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, although hours worked may be greater based upon operational requirements.
The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language.

This is a key leadership position that will enable the successful candidate to join a rapidly growing company, report directly to and work closely with the Financial Controller and play a critical senior role in the Finance department.
Requirements Co-lead and manage accounting department staff and related functions, including accounting for fixed assets, Performing Loans, NPL and REO, fees, prepaid expenses, accrued expenses between others.
Ensure conformity accounting standards and best practices in accordance with GAAP.
Oversee WBL's ledger and financial accounts and other financial reporting functions.
Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of financial statements and related reports Guarantee compliance with all applicable accounting policies, procedures, processes and internal controls.
Manage the reconciliation of all GL accounts.
Work in collaboration with the Audit Department to Oversee monthly close and annual reporting for 1099s and K-1s.
Ensure timely vendor payments, review and monitor accounts payable aging analysis.
Other projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements: CPA in active status required.
Bachelor's or master's degree (preferred) in Accounting or Finance Work related experience required 10-15 years general accounting experience and demonstrated technical accounting knowledge, ideally in a mortgage or business lending company.
Experience with Sage GL is preferred.
AP experience required.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Ability to prioritize and to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
