Job Summary The EHS Manager is responsible for ensuring the safety and health of employees, customers, and contractors in the workplace, as well as protecting the environment. This professional develops, implements, and monitors safety, health, and environmental programs and policies.
Develop, implement and monitor company environmental, health & safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with national, provincial, and local environmental health and safety regulations.Facilitates training in emergency response, hazardous material handling, industrial hygiene, life safety: confined space entry, PPE, LO/TO, Electrical risk, etc.Responsible for recommending corrective action where environmental health and safety hazards exist.Perform safety reviews on all related projects, installations, and modifications to the Plant infrastructure to ensure HE&S compliance.Understand, support, and communicate company strategic initiatives.Utilize other HE&S Managers as resources to ensure best practices are implemented.Cost Management (Tracking, Measuring, Reporting).Policy administration.Interact with external and internal customers.We are a global leader in taste, scent, and nutrition, offering our customers a broader range of natural solutions and accelerating our growth strategy.
