The Opportunity We are seeking a motivated and proactive Driver Pay and Client Invoicing Lead. This role will be responsible for executing and driving day to day processes related to the processing of transactions for our Delivery Professional (Drivers) pay and Client invoicing (Accounts Payable). This is largely done through the Hubb Transport Management System and Microsoft Excel.
The role will also work to deliver process improvements to streamline overall processes and ensure a high level of accuracy is maintained. This role reports to the DP Pay and Client Invoicing Manager and is part of the Finance and Corporate Services Team.
Key responsibilities Perform weekly and daily tasks to facilitate accurate and timely processing of Driver Pay and Client Invoicing.Supervise DP Pay and Client Invoice team when required (2.5 heads) to ensure timely and accurate completion of work (including closing out Driver Pay queries), re-allocating work amongst the team as required.Monitor, respond and resolve Driver Pay queries in a timely manner across the team including root cause analysis with the aim to reduce queries and improve accuracy.Processing of Client credits including root cause analysis with the aim to reduce credits and improve accuracy.Challenge current ways of working to improve processes, reduce opportunities for error and propose solutions to improve resulting accuracy.Collaborate with other teams such as Operations and Finance to understand root cause and resolve issues.What we are looking for in the successful candidate: Advanced MS Excel skills.At least 3 years' experience in a similar role in Finance or experience in operational teams with similar experience or capabilities.Previous supervisory experience (including training and coaching of others) preferred.Previous experience using the Hubb Transport Management System (preferred but not essential).Detail-oriented, high attention to detail and accuracy focused.Analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns and root causes.Ability to manage multiple tasks with conflicting demands simultaneously, solve problems, manage and meet deadlines and maintain a high quality of work.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proactive attitude to problem-solving, improving processes, and building efficiencies.Flexibility and willingness to contribute to areas of non-direct responsibility.Don't miss this opportunity - apply now!
