Documentation Specialist Main Objectives For our high-end technology Mercedes-Benz passenger cars we are currently looking for graduated talents and experienced specialists who share the same passion for enhancing future mobility like we do. Located in Aguascalientes our engineering team is responsible for localizing Mercedes-Benz compact passenger vehicles like A- and B-class. Hereby we are ensuring the highest international technical standards by developing parts together with competitive local suppliers and verifying our results in collaboration with our RD Mercedes-Benz/CC headquarter in Germany as well as in our own vehicle testing drive program. Main Tasks · Provide and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) as well as coordinate the implementation of all changes into the Mercedes-Benz passenger car line, so as minimize impact of cost to company.
Maintain, verify and analyze all incoming changes (KEM) responsibly as well as the BOM in general.
Ensure that all engineering changes are accurately introduced into the production line and certify that all breakpoints are accurately and timorously recorded for archiving.
Maintain and verify all engineering changes in Dialog P (PEM) responsibly.
Ensure that all PEM related data is accurately captured and distributed to the relevant departments and that verification is done for all engineering changes by coordinating divisional activities.
· Take responsibility according to liaising, verifying and coordinating of all queries with various internal/external departments (including German development) to ensure an accurate BOM.
· Work together with cross-functional departments like product planning, quality, logistics and MO (Joint Venture Plant) to set up project milestones as well as coordinate activities to pursue tight time schedules for complex implementation of EE parts.
· Support of the on-time introduction of local and imported parts for our current compact cars and future Mercedes-Benz projects in Mexico.
· Analysis and coordination of Software and parameters in collaboration with the MOE team in the Joint Venture Plant and assure a proper IS Test which request a high-level skills for documentation analysis.
· Campaign support for topics related to IS Tester failures.
Qualifications
Qualifications 1.Education:
Technical or degree in mechanical, automotive or logistic engineering or business administration.
2.Language(s):
·Bilingual Spanish + English (Native or business fluent).
·German as advantage.
3.Work Experience:
Applicants with minimum 2-3 years work experience at OEMs or suppliers.
4.Technical Knowledge:
·CAD (CATIA V5 is preferred).
