?About Our Client Our client, a leader in the payments industry, provides API integration across 17 countries in Latin America, supporting a wide range of local payment methods. They prioritize high standards of compliance and security.
Job Requirements Policy and Procedure Development: Draft, implement, and manage compliance policies in line with AML/CFT, KYC, and data privacy laws. Regulatory Monitoring and Liaison: Monitor regulatory changes, advise leadership, and serve as the primary contact for regulatory bodies. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and integrate compliance into business processes. Employee Training and Awareness: Design and implement training programs on regulatory requirements and compliance risks. AML and Fraud Detection: Oversee AML and fraud detection systems, ensuring compliance with transaction monitoring and reporting. Transaction Monitoring and Reporting: Manage transaction monitoring systems, report suspicious activities, and provide compliance insights to management. Candidate Requirements Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related field (advanced degree or certifications like CAMS, CRCM preferred). 10+ years of experience in compliance, preferably in fintech or financial services. Strong knowledge of financial sector regulations and compliance. Excellent communication skills, with experience in training staff on compliance. Ability to build and lead a compliance team, driving compliance as a strategic function.
