We are searching for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Backend Custom Developer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, with a focus on tailoring solutions to meet unique client needs.
This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient backend systems using a proprietary/custom software language. Thus, a willingness to learn a proprietary/custom language is key to your success.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and design custom solutions. Work with a custom proprietary language to create applications focused on the restaurant/food industry. Develop and maintain backend services that are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability. Create and manage RESTful APIs ensuring seamless integration with frontend applications and third-party services. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner. Continuously improve existing codebases and systems to enhance functionality and efficiency. Required Skills and Experience 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a proven track record of delivering custom solutions. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, Ruby, or C#. Experience with XML and XPath is a nice to have. Experience with SQL Database is a must have. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in team-oriented environments. Experience working in agile development environments. Experience in building systems that support high volumes of data and transactions. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
