We have a robust recognition program, with ongoing and enhanced awards for exemplary performance.How You Will Contribute:As an Associate Sales Engineer, you will contribute to enable one of the major US telecom providers to expand their nationwide network through the design and validation of photonic links and services, along with its associated detailed engineering documentation.Your role supports multiple customer projects focused on Ciena's solutions and is viewed as a key contributing member of Ciena's Global System Engineering Support center.
Reporting to the Manager, Sales Engineering Operations, you will work with a broad team of Sales Engineers from US and Argentina in the constant delivery of new route designs and documentation to enable network deployment and implementation in a timely fashion and with high attention to detail.After learning and adopting unique network engineering knowledge and skills like in no other place in the industry, you will perform solution designs, link engineering and simulations to validate optical network designs on Ciena proprietary 'state of the art' network design tools.You will work on various Link Engineering Design, Detailed Network Documentation and Technical Solution Documents/Presentations.You will collect the latest features in solutions and technologies and identify relevant insights to be shared with the Product Line Management and SE leadership teams, proactively and accurately identifying prospect pain points while proposing creative solutions.You will partner with different technical teams to address specific validation and consulting requirements.The Must Haves:The candidate must reside within the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires (AMBA).Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronic/ Telecommunications engineering / Computer Science.1+ years of experience in Telecommunications industry performing an engineering role.Deadline driven and willing to work outside normal hours to complete tasks.Advanced oral and written english level.Outstanding team player.Good communication skills, creativity and high energy.Must also have strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Assets:Technical knowledge in fiber optics transmission systems (especially DWDM), telecommunication networks and network management, service layers support and management.Experience with customer requirements, networks and services.Benefits & Perks:Full benefits, including executive medical plan (OSDE 410), dental, vision and life insurance.One time reimbursement (up to U$ 500) for home-office set up when you join us.Tuition reimbursement for Degree or Post-degree specialization.Annual Bonus.Periodic Market Adjustment.Broadband (internet) reimbursement.Mobile phone paid planYearly subscription to top Fitness & Gym franchise.Flexible working hours.Mentoring & Career development.Free subscription to digital learning platform.#LI-SGNot ready to apply?
