SC Johnson is a fifth-generation family company built on a spirit of adventure and winning the right way.We have been leading with purpose for over 130 years, building top brands such as Raid, Glade, Kiwi, OFF!, Windex, Ziploc and more, in virtually every country.Through these household names, we are making a positive difference to the world around us.But we only succeed with the combined vitality and strength of our 13,000 people who we truly value and support in their pursuit of individual and shared goals.Role Description:This position provides project management coordinating the assigned projects to deliver the expected outcome of each of them.The incumbent will need to demonstrate business acumen to better handle the projects resources, finding the best engineering solutions and possible options to deliver the expected results.This person needs to handle end to end project management in terms of engineering disciplines collaborating with cross functional areas.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage multiple capital projects and programs simultaneously collaborating with sites and subject matter experts in execution.Manage projects according to SCJ processes, best practices, internal and regulatory standards.Propose technological upgrade with focus on safety, quality, costs, and sustainability.Support new product initiatives performing technical feasibility analysis in early stages.Drive MOC process (management of changes) of assigned projects.Coordinate engineering related on site contractors.Lead bidding process as of the project requirement.Assure resources availability to perform installations and required trials.Identify potential cost savings initiatives and lead process to implement them.Run detailed engineering project timeline and risk identification / mitigation plans.Propose alternatives and conduct trade-off discussions when process deviations may occur.Track project progress, issue status reports and escalate issues as necessary to leadership committee.Establish rapport with stakeholder, assuring their expectations are not in conflict with project outcomes.Support plant ad-hoc projects and assignments and help solving technical issues.Required Competencies:The individual must demonstrate the following competencies:Bachelor's degree in engineering related to Chemical, Electrical and Mechanical.Civil is a plus.Minimum of 2 years' experience in the consumer-packaged goods, food/beverage, or pharmaceutical industries, developing both automatic and manual equipment solutions.Project Management skills: project plan development, capex control, progress communication; project completion on time and within budget; preferably in manufacturing environment.Success in new product launches, contract manufacturing and financial analysisExperience to interface, lead and build relationships with multiple levels to the corporation.Problem solving mindset.Communication - Strong oral and written communication skills.Teamwork, business acumen, planning/organizing, able to deal with ambiguity.Desired Competencies:Prior experience capital leading projects.Manufacturing experience.Inclusion & DiversityWe're a global business, with people from every culture, ethnicity, race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age and ability.We recognize the breadth of human experience, and we work to celebrate it.It is our goal to build a diverse, inclusive and supportive work environment where all people can thrive.We're committed to ongoing efforts that help us attract, hire, and retain diverse talent who want to build a positive, inclusive environment.Read more about our ongoing initiatives at .
