Position Summary The Accountant I is responsible for preparing standard and specialized financial reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, performing a variety of accounting functions, such as calculating and/or verifying amounts, posting transactions to accounts, and performing moderately complex financial analyses to summarize current and projected company financial position.

Key Position Responsibilities · Bank reconciliation · Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries and document business transactions related to less complex accounts · Withhold tax accounts reconciliation · Assist in the monthly close of the company's financial statements · Document accounting and control procedures · Assist in financial analysis, budget preparation and analysis as well as monthly department reporting · Work with other departments to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures · Provide supporting documentation and analytical information for all external audits.
